Slow Food Sacramento is headed to Lodi! Join us on a tour of Corto Olive Oil mill. Master Miller David Garci-Aguirre will show us around the plant and explain the process of making olive oil here in The Great Central Valley. Enjoy an oil tasting. This is a behind the scenes tour- no cameras, closed toed shoes. This is a commercial agricultural workspace and is not accessable for all. The facility is not currently milling so time will be spent explaining the processes and the types of equipment used. Tickets are very limited. There will be an opportunity to sign up on a waiting list for the next trip.
