Description
Book Club
The Slow Food Sacramento Book Club is a book club for readers who enjoy food-related literature, both non-fiction and fiction. The club meets at 6:30 pm on the second Thursday of every other month at one of our member’s homes. Everyone who attends brings an appetizer to share, and we enjoy an evening of lively literary discussion. If you are interested in participating or if you would like more information, please contact Kathleen Albiani at katonthyme@gmail.com.
Supper Club
The Supper Club is a potluck dinner that meets on the 4th Sunday of even months at a member's home for great food, conversation and new friendships. Email Karen Auwaerter at karenrd101@gmail.com to be added to the invite list.
Slow Food University
Slow Food University are bimonthly events where you can take a deep dive into an interesting food product or process, like Amari, bread baking, or truffle making. Classes are usually for two hours long in the evenings or weekends.
Quarterly Gatherings
During our quarterly gatherings, we eat a little, chat a little, and learn a little. The topics change depending on what's happening in Sacramento. Our meetings are usually on Wednesday evenings at 6pm.
