This year Slow Food Sacramento wants to help support change-makers in the Farm-to-Fork Capital meet other likeminded individuals in our nation and abroad.

Every year Slow Food USA hosts a conference, Slow Food Nations, in Denver, Colorado highlighting our national sustainable food systems. Food rock stars like Alice Waters, Carlo Petrini, and local Chef Ed Roehr attended last year's conference with 500+ other participants from 40 states. Slow Food Nations will have themed tracks, hands-on workshops, and a leaders summit in which to collaborate with other American food leaders over July 13-15, 2018. Two scholarships are available at the $500 level ($260 for Leadership Summit ticket and $240 for housing/transportation).

Every other year, Slow Food enthusiasts from around the globe gather in Turin, Italy to experience the local food system of Slow Food's origin at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto. Over 7,000 delegates from 143 countries gather in Turin this year to focus on the people who promote agricultural biodiversity and create the thriving food communities in which we live from September 20 to 24, 2018. Two scholarships are available at the $1000 level.
